Calgary to see double digit temperatures this weekend after days of severe weather

The weather in Calgary hasn’t been the best the past few days, but looks like the weekend temperatures will make up for it.

It’s -6ºC in town right now, feels more like -11ºC, and it’s snowing.

According to The Weather Network, the snow is expected to last all Thursday afternoon and evening, but to wear off overnight, with a mix of sun and clouds and a high of 7C on Friday.

It is predicted that temperatures in Calgary will continue to rise through the weekend, melting the snow we have seen repeatedly throughout the week.

Saturday is expected to be mostly sunny and 11 ° C, while Sunday will be even warmer with 13 ° C and more sunshine.

On the way into next week it looks like things will cool down again and bring more snow to Calgary.

On Monday there will be -3ºC and snow, and up to three centimeters of the white fluffy material could come towards us.

Tuesday and Wednesday there is spring-like weather with mostly sunny skies and a maximum of 8 ° C until the middle of the week.

Next Thursday it will be warm again, with double-digit temperatures and a maximum of 10 ° C.

Let’s hope that the nice weather streak continues until next weekend so that we can still have a few sunny days in Calgary to enjoy beer on the terrace and take a walk in the fresh air.
