So grab your sun block and throw on those sunglasses because Calgary is going to see some sunshine this weekend.
After a relatively mild week, we are happy to announce that The Weather Network’s 7-day forecast is for a return to summery form in the next few days.
We will start this Friday and Saturday with mostly sunny skies, both of which bring highs of 22 ° C.
On Sunday, the real fun begins with 12 hours of unobstructed sunshine, a high of 26 ° C that feels closer to 28 ° C, and winds of just 10 km / h.
Monday, however, is really going to bump your head with a high of 30 ° C that feels like 32 ° C, which is likely to trigger a heat warning from Environment Canada. Tuesday follows almost as hot with a high of 29 ° C and a feeling of 31 ° C.
The rest of the next week cools down a bit, while Thursday is again exposed to the risk of thunderstorms we have seen all summer.
So just enjoy the sunshine while you can, Calgary!
