Calgary, Alberta – Exro, a clean technology company working to develop “a new class of power electronics for electric motors and batteries,” will open a facility in Calgary with 37,000 square feet of production lines, product showrooms and office space.
The new facility can produce up to 100,000 units per year for all Coil Driver products with certifications for the automotive industry.
“The opening of our new Calgary facility reflects our commitment to delivering what we do,” said Sue Ozdemir, Executive Director of Exro.
“This underpins our cost-effective market strategy for automobiles and strengthens Exro’s position as a power electronics company.”
The facility will also include clean energy solutions, including solar and battery storage solutions with a net zero CO2 emissions target.
The plant is scheduled to open at the end of the fourth quarter of 2021 and, for the automotive industry, by the end of 2022.
