“On behalf of the Calgary Police Service Air Support Unit (CPS), we are proud of the commitment of our Airbus, Eagle Copters and CPS colleagues and their contributions to our H125 project. This will certainly make a difference in the safety of the Calgarians, ”said Sergeant Tanya Paziuk, Calgary Police Service, Air Support Unit. “These planes protect the city and save many lives. Thank you for being part of our heritage and commitment to serving and protecting the citizens of Calgary. “

The Community Safety Helicopter Guard (HAWCS) has had a significant impact on the Calgary community thanks to these aircraft. In 2020, the operating flight time was 2783, service inquiries 4617, the total of which were 2736, 2000 criminal charges.

These Airbus H125 are much more than a helicopter. It is an ongoing commitment to ensure aviation safety for the community. “CPS flies 10 hours a day. It’s a helicopter to count on. Because of this, the H125 is the reference for law enforcement in the air. “Says Dwayne Charette, President and CEO of Airbus

“Eagle Copters is very excited to be part of this celebration. We begin by recognizing and appreciating the work the Calgary Police Service is doing for our local community. Second, we appreciate Airbus for commissioning us to build a highly specialized version of the H125 helicopter that is well suited for this mission. Our participation in making this, while mostly technical, is rewarding and a testimony to our dedicated workforce here in Calgary makes us proud partners, “said Mike O’Reilly, President of Eagle Copters Ltd.

Eagle Copters Ltd. prides itself on supporting the law enforcement community with in-house services and equipment to keep citizens and officials safe at all times. It was a pleasure to work with Airbus & CPS on this project. Eagle looks forward to further projects.
