GetintheLoop connects Calgary businesses with users who need local support. CONTRIBUTION
You are in Calgary and meal time is getting closer. Mealtime. You are hungry.
You open your GetintheLoop app and it shows you four restaurants in the area with a food promotion that evening.
Perfect! It will be a bento box!
You’ll save money and do your part to help local Calgary small businesses thrive.
“Ultimately, we are local. It’s about local shopping, the local consumer, the local business, ”said Janeil Lentz of GetintheLoop Calgary.
GetintheLoop launched in Calgary about 18 months ago, according to Lentz, a marketing expert for the past two decades.
During that time, they have built a user base of 25,000+ Calgarians who love the collision of great promotions and the support of local businesses.
“For the general user of the app, it’s an easy reference to find something new and exciting or different – something really local,” Lentz said.
“This is a platform that offers offers and promotions. That way they can save money shopping and helping a local business. “
How it works
GetintheLoop members choose to receive offers from local businesses when they download the app. Members are looking for something to do or buy and want to support local businesses.
Users can search for their location by categories called “loops,” or open the app to see what’s new and trending.
They work with their business partners to develop the right strategy for an engaged audience that will support the local people here in Calgary. A user’s positive experience is crucial.
“Our focus is on really making a good experience for the people who use the app,” said Lentz.
“The more people use the app, the more people like it, the more benefits our business partners will see, simply because it drives all the data traffic for them.”
It’s easy to sign up, create a basic profile and you can instantly see the offers in your area. Find food, entertainment, and merchandise – all from local businesses.
Companies also benefit from it
Business partners have a low monthly fee of $ 225. But they get one thing that all companies desire: the warm leadership.
Calgarians buzzing around town open the app to find a deal or offer near them. Or they receive a push notification. You click through – this person is interested. You are already ahead of the competition.
Lentz said they are working with their business partners to focus the messaging, offering and timing to ensure they are delivering the best local content to the user while increasing revenue for the company.
It’s a cleverly orchestrated system that brings members and businesses together – to save money and support the health of the Calgary business community.
