You might want to get outside and enjoy the sunshine while you still can.
While Calgary sits on Monday afternoon with a sunny and warm 20 ° C, it’s all downhill from here in terms of the weather.
The latest seven-day forecast from the Weather Network shows two very different seasons in the coming week, with the beginning of the week feeling a lot like summer and the end a little closer to deepest winter.
Tuesday follows Monday with a high of 18 ° C under cloudy skies, while Wednesday and Thursday bring high values of 14 ° C and 10 ° C, respectively.
Throw mostly sunny skies on Wednesday and only one chance of rain on Thursday, and it’s really not that bad week, right?
Well then comes Friday.
The first day of the weekend is a mixture of sun and clouds and a high of just -2 ° C which feels a little closer to -5 ° C.
The snow begins to show on Saturday, with about 10 cm falling on one day at -7 ° C, while on Sunday an even colder high of -9 ° C (feeling like -18 ° C) and another 5 cm snowfall follow.
Given that this is Calgary, it really isn’t known what the rest of the month will bring in terms of weather. We therefore recommend making the most of these relatively warm days while you still can!
