Southern Alberta’s largest outdoor live music drive-in in Calgary

If you’ve had enough of watching virtual concerts from your computer screen, you’re in luck – Alberta’s newest and largest drive-in event venue is coming to town this spring. So get ready to enjoy live music again.

Personal shows return at Gray Eagle Resort and Casino with a creative new twist this year.

The Event Group, Gray Eagle Resort and Casino and SuperVision Ltd have teamed up to bring us the Gray Eagle Drive-In.

The drive-in is scheduled to open on May 1st. Event attendees have the option to watch shows in their vehicles or in the comfort of the Gray Eagle’s west-facing hotel rooms.

The 206-space space is located in the southwestern parking lot of the Gray Eagle Resort, which is just minutes from downtown Calgary on the Tssut’ina Nation.

The site has a 32-foot covered stage with three large LED screens that project the action for all to see. Audio is transmitted via surround sound and also transmitted from the FM transmitter via car radios.

“We are delighted that we can continue the call of this spring with our new ‘Gray Eagle Drive In’, which offers an incredible live event experience in the open air,” said Kevin Yates, General Manager of the Hotel and Event Centers at the Gray Eagle Resort and Casino.

“Guests have the opportunity to eat, play, stay, and enjoy a variety of entertainment options to support charities in the beautiful Tsuut’ina Nation. We will follow all health and safety guidelines. “

The drive-in can not only be booked for concerts – everyone can plan promotions, dance evenings, comedy evenings, award ceremonies, film screenings and more at the Gray Eagle.

The Gray Eagle Drive-In offers event coordinators a variety of ways to recoup their booking investment, such as: B. through ticket sales, live streaming or a 50/50 raffle on site.

The COVID-friendly venue can now be booked for special events from May 1st to July 31st. The live concert offer will be announced shortly. So stay tuned.
