We have good news and bad news, YYC.
The bad news is that wintry weather is back – but only for today.
We’ll see a high of 13 ° C over the weekend and if that’s not good news we don’t know what it is.
Calgary is currently -6 ° C, although it feels more like -14 ° C.
According to The Weather Network, Calgarians can expect a high of -4 ° C on Wednesday. The storms start at 4 p.m. and last into the evening.
Fortunately, the city won’t see much snow as less than 1cm is expected and things will clear up overnight, with Thursday bringing sunshine and a high of 4C.
The weather network
The temperature continues to rise as we near the weekend and a high of 10C is forecast on Friday.
Saturday and Sunday is the time when the real spring weather sets in with persistently sunny skies and a maximum of 13 ° C on both days – this meets the criteria for wearing shorts for many of us.
Sounds like a perfect weekend to relax on a terrace with a drink in hand.
Take in a few rays while it lasts, because next Wednesday we could see thunderstorms again.
